Free for universities

Learn to design buildings the way the industry is heading

Spacio is free for architecture students. Log in with your university email, check if your school already has access, and start designing with the same tools professionals use.

Free institutional access · Domain-based licence · Your university might already be set up

How it works

Get started in three steps

Your university may already have access. There's only one way to find out — give it a try.

1

Log in with your university email

Head to app.spacio.ai and create an account using your student email. Your institution might already have full access set up — there's a good chance it does.

2

Look for your university team

Check if a team with your university name already exists. If it does — you're all set. If not, email info@spacio.ai and we'll add it for you.

Domain-based access

Start designing

That's it — you now have full access to Spacio. Pick a location, generate buildings, run daylight analysis, and impress your studio tutors.

Are you a professor or programme director?

We set up institutional access through domain-based licences. Everyone with your university email gets automatic access. No per-student administration needed. Get in touch and we'll have your department set up within days.

Common questions

Yes — just head to app.spacio.ai and sign up with your university email. If your institution already has a team set up, you'll get full access straight away. If not, email us at info@spacio.ai and we'll create one. You can also use the free plan in the meantime, which is available to everyone.

Once your institution is registered, anyone who signs up with a matching university email address (e.g. @tum.de, @ntnu.no) automatically receives the student licence. No approval queue, no verification forms.

No. Students get the same Spacio that professional architects use. We believe the best way to learn is with real tools, not simplified versions.

Absolutely. The student licence covers all academic work — studio projects, theses, competitions, and portfolio pieces. You own your designs and can showcase them however you like.

Not at all — Discord is optional. But it's where we run design challenges, share tutorials, and where you can talk directly to the founding team. We highly recommend it for getting the most out of Spacio.

Your student access stays active as long as your university email works. After graduation, you can continue with our free plan or upgrade to a professional licence. And the Discord community is yours forever.
